[PR] GIORGIO ARMANI DRESSES 2017 OSCAR WINNERS, NOMINEES AND ATTENDEES


Giorgio Armani dressed select winners, nominees, presenters and attendees at the 89th Annual Academy Awards. The show took place last night, February 26th, in Los Angeles, California.
Best Supporting Actress winner Viola Davis wore a custom Armani Privé vermillion red silk cady gown with a high neckline that falls into draped shoulders and pleated detailing on the bodice. The gown cascades into a dramatic, pooling train. Davis stars in the Best Picture nominated film “Fences.”
Best Actress nominee Isabelle Huppert wore a custom Armani Privé blush pink silk chiffon plissé long-sleeved gown fully embroidered in silver crystals and accented at the waist by a crystal- encrusted belt. Huppert was nominated for her work in “Elle.”
Best Supporting Actress nominee Nicole Kidman wore a custom Armani Privé gown reminiscent of the new Spring 2017 Privé collection. The unique apricot color was custom created utilizing complementing shades of orange in layers of georgette.
The lace overlay is hand-embroidered with arabesque motifs of deep and pale orange crystals. The backless gown is elongated by a tulle plissé embroidered train. Kidman stars in the Best Picture nominated film “Lion.”
Emma Roberts wore an Armani Privé gown from Mr. Armani’s first Privé collection, which debuted in Paris in January 2005.
The strap couture dress is embroidered with cream crystals and waves of small white jet beads featured in a two-tiered skirt.
The dramatic plunging bodice is made of jet and black crystal teardrops and is completed with a black satin cummerbund at the waist.
President of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, Cheryl Boone Isaacs wore a Giorgio Armani navy blue silk jersey strapless gown that features a horizontal geometric pattern of silver and blue beading.
Best Actor nominee Denzel Washington wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Washington was nominated for his work in the Best Picture nominated film “Fences.”
Best Director nominee Mel Gibson wore a Giorgio Armani black one-button shawl collar tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Gibson was nominated for his work in the Best Picture nominated film “Hacksaw Ridge.”
Presenter Leonardo DiCaprio wore a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure midnight blue herringbone pattern one-button peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in grosgrain with a classic white evening shirt and a bowtie.
Presenter John Cho wore an Emporio Armani black one-button shawl collar tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.
Keith Urban wore a Giorgio Armani black one-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.
Glen Powell wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Powell stars in the Best Picture nominated film “Hidden Figures.
Jovan Adepo wore an Emporio Armani black double breasted peak lapel tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Adepo stars in the Best Picture nominated film “Fences.”
Aldis Hodge wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue two-button shawl collar tuxedo with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Hodge stars in the Best Picture nominated film “Hidden Figures.”
SEVERAL GUESTS ATTENDED VARIOUS OSCAR NIGHT PARTIES WEARING ARMANI Isabelle Huppert wore a custom Armani Privé ruby red chiffon long-sleeved top paired with a silk
crepe skirt.
Emma Roberts wore an Armani Privé gown from Mr. Armani’s second Armani Privé collection that took place in Paris in July of 2005. The long-sleeved nude and pale green silk tulle dress is encrusted with crystals. The jet black and honey-colored beads create a geometric pattern. The high neck silhouette is paired with a dramatic plunging back.
Zoe Kravitz wore an Armani Privé black double silk gazar mermaid dress with black and mint green bamboo leaf embroidery and a crystal-encrusted asymmetric top.
Sia wore a custom Giorgio Armani silk crepe vibrant orange one button peak lapel long jacket with matching slim-cut trousers and a nude silk blouse.
Jessica Rothe wore an Emporio Armani black babydoll dress that features a velvet skirt and an embellished ruffle bodice.
Colton Haynes wore an Emporio Armani burgundy one-button shawl collar velvet dinner jacket trimmed in satin with classic evening trousers, a white evening shirt and a bow tie.
Garrett Clayton wore an Emporio Armani black paisley patterned one-button peak lapel tuxedo with classic white evenining shirt and a bow tie.
